God honours prayer...
The Ark Angel is extremely grateful to all our customers who regularly support our work and mission. The trustees and staff constantly pray for guidance and to know God’s will for the future of the shop (as well as giving thanks to God for his faithfulness over 25 years).
Sadly, many Christian bookshops have closed in recent years, but we still feel called to the ministry of spreading God’s light and love in the heart of Bude and the surrounding area. We are also delighted to welcome the many holidaymakers who call in year by year.
The Christian book trade on the high street is always aware of the challenge of internet shopping on the one hand, whilst on the other facing problems of supply in recent times (though this has now largely been resolved), but those connected with the ministry of books all around our nation continue to meet in small groups to seek God’s guidance and direction. We are confident that this ministry is still part of God’s plan for our nation.
The Ark Angel has a team of loyal volunteers and a number of individual and church supporters, and this now plays a significant role in keeping us ‘afloat’.
